and address Avd/ Juan Pereda Pila, 4, 10B, CP, 06010, Badajoz. If you are a
resident of the European Union, COMPETIZE SOLUTIONS S.L. is the controller of your personal
Information for the purposes of EU data protection law. If you have questions, suggestions, or

Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was written in English. To the extent a translated version conflicts with the English version, the English version controls. Unless indicated otherwise, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third party products, services or the practices of companies that we do not own or control, including other companies and websites you might interact with or through our Services.
This Privacy Policy will be governed by and interpreted according to the law of the Spain. All disputes arising under the Privacy Policy will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of this Privacy Policy (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision will, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of this Privacy Policy will not be affected. In this Privacy Policy, unless the context requires a different interpretation: the singular includes the plural and vice versa; including is understood to mean including without limitation.
Every effort is made to keep our Services running smoothly. However, Competize takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for the Services being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

We may share your Information with third parties who provide services to Competize such as customer support, information technology, payments, sales, marketing, data analysis, research, and surveys. We may also engage service providers to collect Information about your use of our Services over time on our behalf so that we or they may promote Competize or display information that may be relevant to your interests on our Services or other websites or services.
Publicly available Information
Subject to your account settings, your Information and content may be publicly accessible. We cannot and will not be responsible for what third parties do with any personal Information or other Information that you choose to make publicly available. As such, we advise that you exercise great care in determining what Information you choose to make publicly available through the Services. You may also authorize us to share your Information with others, for example, with Third-Party Accounts such as Facebook and Twitter

Competize may, from time to time, expand or reduce its business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Competize. Information provided by users will, where it is relevant to any part of our business acquired, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use the Information for the purposes for which it was originally supplied to us. We may also disclose Information to a prospective purchaser of our business or any part of it. In the above instances, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring your privacy is protected.
Legal requirements
We may preserve and share your Information with third parties, including law enforcement, public or governmental agencies, or private litigants, within or outside your country of residence, if we determine that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, including responses to court orders, warrants, subpoenas, or other legal or regulatory process. We may also retain, preserve or disclose your Information if we determine that disclosure is reasonably necessary or appropriate to prevent any person from death or serious bodily injury, to address issues of national security or other issues of public importance, to prevent or detect violations of our Terms & Conditions or fraud or abuse of Competize or its members, or to protect our operations or our property or other legal rights, including by disclosure to our legal counsel and other consultants and third parties in connection with actual or potential litigation.
Managing your personal Information
You have the right to access, download, rectify or erase your Information, as well as the right to restrict and object to certain processing of your Information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited circumstances.
You can delete your data by accessing the settings of your account. Alternatively, you can request the deletion or alteration of your data by email to the address unsubscribe@competize.com . The mail must be sent from the account registered in Competize.
Retention of Information
We keep your account Information, like your name, email address, password and age for as long as your account is in existence because we need it to operate your account. We keep other Information, like your match, team, competition and event data, until you delete the Information or your account since we use this data to provide you and other users with schedules, results, statistics and other aspects of the Services. Following your deletion of your account, it may take up to 30 days to fully delete your personal Information and system logs from our systems. We may retain Information from deleted accounts for our legitimate business interests, to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect fees, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce the Terms & Conditions and take other actions permitted by law.
Our policies for children
We take additional measures to protect children’s privacy. You must be at least 16 years old or have the parental and/or legal guardian’s authorization to create an account. You can only accept the Privacy Policy and become a user of Competize, if you guarantee that you are over 16 years of age or, otherwise, you have previously received parental and/or legal guardian’s consent. You are solely responsible for obtaining this consent and you are solely responsible for stating that you are over 16 years of age.
Competize may contact you to prove your actual age and, if applicable, prove that you have the appropriate parental and/or legal guardian’s consent. In this case you will have to provide us with a copy of your identification card or other official document containing your personal data, as well as any other documentation that may be necessary, in case you do not do so, Competize may deactivate and cancel your profile, either temporarily or definitely.
We do not knowingly collect personal Information from children under the age of 16 without explicit parental consent; however if your child is registered with a national, state or local sport governing body, club, team, competition, event or other institution (collectively, the “Organisation”), such Organisation may provide us with the Information. The Organisation is solely responsible for obtaining and proving parental and/or legal guardian’s consent for sharing and publishing Information of children under the age of 16. If we learn that we have collected the personal Information of a child under the age of 16 without parental consent, we will take steps to delete the Information as soon as possible. Parents who believe that their child or other users have submitted personal Information to us and would like to have it deleted may contact us at info@competize.com.
Our international operations and Information transfers
We operate internationally, with our servers based in Dublin, Ireland. Your Information may be stored, processed in and transferred to other countries with privacy and data protection laws that differ from, and are potentially less protective than, the laws of your country. You acknowledge this risk and agree to data transfers when you create a Competize account and click “I agree” to our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions, irrespective of which country you live in.
How we protect Information
Data security is of great importance to Competize and to protect your Information we take several measures to safeguard the collection, transmission and storage of the data we collect. The Services use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) technology to allow for the encryption of personal and financial Information. Although we strive to employ reasonable protections for your Information that are appropriate to its sensitivity, we do not guarantee or warrant the security of the Information you share with us and we are not responsible for the theft, destruction, loss or inadvertent disclosure of your Information or content. No system is 100% secure. Transmitting personal Information is done at your own risk.
To help ensure that these measures are effective in preventing unauthorized access to your private Information, you should be aware of the security features available to you through your browser. You should use a security-enabled browser to submit your payment Information and other personal Information at the Services. If password access is required for certain parts of our Services, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

Although our Services only look to include quality, safe and relevant Information, users are advised to adopt a policy of caution before clicking any external links published on our Services. Changes to Privacy Policy
Competize reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Please review it occasionally. If Competize makes changes to this Privacy Policy, the updated Privacy Policy will be posted on the Services in a timely manner and, if we make material changes, we will provide a prominent notice. If you object to any of the changes to this Privacy Policy, you should stop using the Services and delete your account.
