FUTSAL TOURNAMENT RULES

1. FORMAT

1.1 The futsal tournament takes place between October 14 and 16 at the Pavilhão Flávio Sá Leite (Braga).

1.2 All teams will participate in a single group.

1.3 Each team's position in the group was determined by a draw, which determined the schedule of matches.

1.4 In the group stage, each team will face all the other teams only once (“all versus all” system).

2. GAME TIME

2.1 Each match will last 40 minutes, divided into two parts of 20 minutes each, without stop. There will be a 10-minute break between the two halves.

2.2 If a team is not on the court 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, it will be considered a no-show and will lose the match.

3. RANKING AND TIE-BREAKING CRITERIA

3.1. Classification will be based on the scores obtained in the matches, as follows:

- Win: 3 points

- Draw: 1 point

- Defeat: 0 points

3.2 If two or more teams finish the group stage with the same number of points, the following criteria will be applied for a tie-breaker:

a) Head-to-head between the tied teams;

b) Higher goal difference (difference between goals scored and conceded);

c) The highest number of goals scored;

d) Lowest number of goals conceded;

e) Youngest team;

f) Draw of lots, with no possibility of appeal.

3.3 The final classification will determine the 3rd and final qualifying matches:

- 1st and 2nd place will play in the final;

- 3rd and 4th place will play for 3rd place;

3.4 In case of a draw in the knockout matches (final and 3rd place match), the winner will be decided by penalty kicks, following the official rules of the Law of the Game (5 penalty kicks for each team).

3.5 If there is a no-show, the absent team will defeat by 3-0.
