AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

TIMES:

Please arrive 30mins before the tournament kickoff.

Saturday 11^th March 2023, 2:00pm to 6:00pm – under 6/U7/U8/U9/U13.

Sunday 12^th March 2023, 9:00am to 2:00pm – under 10/U11/U12/U17.

FORMAT:

League format - 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, 0 for a loss. If points are equal, the goals for and then goals against rules will apply.

Team will progress to a semi-final & finals thereafter

In the event of a draw in the semi-final or final, straight to penalties- 3 each (2 step penalty) thereafter sudden death (If one team has received a red card during the game the player cannot kick.).

Under 6 and 7 to play 5 v 5 (max 10 Players) Rolling Subs

Under 8 to U17 10 to play 7 v 7 (max 12 Players) Rolling Subs

Duration of matches will be 15 minutes one way.

U6 to u9 will be played with a central whistle.

U10 to U17 will be played at the discretion of the referee (Injuries/time wasting, etc)

All players will receive a color coded band upon registration. Players are NOT allowed to play for more than 1 team if there are 2 or more of the same team entered into competition or another division. The referee will check before each game for bands but the onus remains on the opposing coaches to ensure all players have a band before each game kicks off. No disputes will be entertained after the game has been completed. If there is a protest from any coaches, it needs to be done before the game is complete. NO BAND, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTION.

Late arrivals to game:

After 2 minutes opposing team will be awarded 1 goal, after 5 minutes a 2^nd goal and after 7 minutes a 3^rd goal and the win will be given. Should a team arrive before the game is forfeited, the time lost will not be added. referee (Injuries/time wasting, etc)
